A genuine piece of Spanish colonial history, recently brought to light after centuries beneath the soil.
These hand-struck silver 1 Reale cobs date to the 1600s–1700s and originate from the historic routes commonly known as the Spanish Mule Trails. During the colonial era, enormous quantities of silver and treasure moved along these routes by mule train, connecting mining regions, colonial cities, ports, and the greater Spanish treasure network.
These examples were recently discovered by metal detectorists along historic Spanish Mule Trail routes, where they had remained lost for centuries.
Every cob was individually struck by hand, giving each coin its own irregular shape, strike, wear pattern, and visible details. No two are exactly alike.
